That's why the Crossmax Carbon XL R's rim is designed with a low profile and a carbon layup technique that provides just the right amount of vertical compliance for easy handling without compromising climbing performance or cornering precision and efficiency. Its asymmetric rim, 30mm wide, is designed to fit perfectly with all modern trail tires, allowing it to deliver its best performance.

To achieve the delicate balance between lateral stiffness and vertical compliance, we use 24 straight-pull spokes. The Infinity hub platforms benefit from a stiffer and lighter structure, further enhanced by the highly reliable ID360 dual ratchet system with quick engagement. Weighing in at just 1490g, this wheelset lets you forget the terrain and ride! It accepts 6-bolt or Center Lock disc brakes and is compatible with Shimano HG9, SRAM-XD, and Micro Spline freehub bodies. The Crossmax XL R is available in 27.5" or 29" and comes with UST Tubeless valves, spare spokes, and accessories.
