The new advanced rubber
Based on activated silica compounds, this technology was originally designed as a performance-level compound, but after intensive development in our Korbach research and development department, a new advanced compound with exceptional grip and cross-country properties was developed. This new rubber compound, aptly named "PureGrip," is ranked just below our BlackChili Compound and is used in our performance products for both road and mountain biking. While offering excellent grip, it is also durable and highly resistant.
Nylon fabric in the performance sector
Our new NyTech puncture protection was developed based on the proven Continental SafetySystem breaker. Its nylon fabric makes it as resistant to punctures and cuts as high-strength Kevlar-reinforced fibers, but offers lower rolling resistance and reduced weight. The NyTech breaker sits between the SafetySystem and the PolyX Breaker® as a more effective puncture protection casing in the performance sector.
