Kona Process 153 Full Suspension Mountain Bike
The Process 153 is for riders who want to ride aggressively on rough trails, on an aluminum frame that shares the geometry of the rest of the range.
Description
The Kona Process 153 is the entry model of the Process 153 range. This full suspension mountain bike shares the geometry of the other Process 153 models and uses components chosen to keep the cost down. Its Kona 6061 aluminum frame is built for aggressive riding on rough trails.
Travel (how far the suspension can compress) of 153 mm at the rear and 160 mm at the front takes on rough terrain, on 29-inch wheels. The frame is also compatible with a mullet setup (29-inch front wheel, 27.5-inch rear wheel) through a flip-chip, an adjustment piece.
The internal dropper seatpost, Shimano disc brakes and Shimano CUES 11-speed drivetrain round out the package. Four sizes are offered, from S to XL.
Key features

- 29-inch wheels, Maxxis Assegai 2.5-inch front and DHR II 2.4-inch rear tires (dual compound, EXO casing) → wide tires suited to rough trail use.
- Flip-chip mullet compatibility (29-inch front wheel, 27.5-inch rear wheel) → the option of running a smaller rear wheel.
