The Pro Team's daily driver.
From storm cycles to spring sessions, the Stratos is the number one board for the Jones Pro Team. Antti Autti, Harry Kearney and Ruiki Masuda ride it, and it's proven itself everywhere from backcountry descents to banked slalom podiums. If you love creative lines and dynamic descents, you'll feel right at home.
In powder: true freeride float.
On deep days, the Stratos is in its element (10/10 in powder). Its directional shape, with a longer nose, shorter tail and 2 cm setback stance, keeps the nose riding high without effort. The Freeride CamRock profile adds an extended nose rocker and a shorter tail rocker, while the 10 mm medium taper lets the tail sink slightly for even more lift. The result: less back-leg burn and smooth turns in the trees and on open faces alike.
On groomers: bite and energy.
Once the mountain is tracked out, the fun keeps going. Camber underfoot and High Traction Tech, with three bumps per edge and a bigger middle bump, keep you locked in, even on hardpack and East Coast ice. A short sidecut and medium, lively flex (7/10) make the board quick in tight turns and stable when you let it run at speed.
A surf-inspired base, tuned for freeride.
The High 3D Contour Base is Jones' most pronounced version: 4–8 mm of spoon bevel in the nose and 0–7 mm in the tail. It reduces tip drag, eases turn initiation and boosts float. You glide faster and link turns with more flow, from late-day crud to fresh snow.
Premium, responsible construction.
The triple-density Power Core (Bamboo, Paulownia and Poplar) blends light weight, pop and torsional stiffness with a damp feel. Biax Fiberglass and ampliTex™ Carbon/Flax Stringers, developed with Swiss engineering firm Bcomp®, deliver a forgiving yet snappy ride. Bio Resin (27% plant-based carbon) cuts CO₂ emissions by 33% compared to conventional epoxy. Add a lightning-fast Sintered 8000 base, recycled German steel edges, recycled ABS sidewalls and a factory coat of WEND natural wax, and you're ready to shred straight out of the shop. Every board is built in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory powered by 100% solar energy.
Bigger boots? No problem.
Wide versions (154W, 158W, 161W, 164W) give you extra waist width so your toes and heels don't drag on committed carves.
